Modular expansion base giving you the functionality of a desktop with the convenience of removable MultiBay devices. These flexible devices allow user customization and are easily interchangeable between notebook and expansion base.

Modular Design
MultiBay design allows for true system customization with hard drives, CD-ROM drive, or diskette drives. MultiBay devices are easily installed and removed, and are interchangeable between notebook and expansion base.

Network Ready
Includes integrated NE-2000-compatible Ethernet for network connection with both RJ-45 and BNC connectors

Battery Charger
Expansion base independently charges two batteries while notebook charges two others; together, notebook and base can charge up to four batteries; base can even charge batteries without the notebook

Graphics
Supports external monitor with resolutions up to 1024 x 768; can be used in docked position with or without external monitor; monitor support cover provided for space conservation

PCMCIA
Two Type III PCMCIA slots support one card each; up to four cards can be used simultaneously with base and notebook

Multimedia
Integrated stereo speakers and MIDI/Game port; optional MultiBay CD-ROM drive; dedicated space for optional MPEG and TV Video Adapter supporting playback, video and image capture

Interfaces
Duplicates all notebook ports (enhanced parallel, serial, external SVGA monitor, keyboard/pointing device, expansion connector, headphone out, stereo microphone/line-in), RJ-45 and BNC network, MIDI/game port; dedicated space for MPEG and TV Video Adapter

Security features allow user locking of unit and base, deterring theft; compatible with the Kensington Lock system
