The Linux and Tru64 UNIX Portability Tools include an installation procedure that simplifies the steps required to install individual components. See the customer letter for specific installation instructions. Read the online Read This First (00README.txt) and component Release Notes documents before installing the software. You can access these documents on the Linux and Tru64 UNIX Portability Tools CD-ROMs. Disk Space Requirements
NOTE: This count refers to the disk space required on the /usr system partition. The sizes are approximate; actual sizes might vary depending on the user's system environment, configuration, and software options.
