doctors and hospital personnel real-time diagnostic image systems
and storage, retrieval and communications systems for archived
images, reports and exam results.

servers, ProLiant servers, AlphaServer systems,
storage equipment, and services.

Before the implementation of PocketCop, officers at Logan Airport
used BlackBerry handhelds as instant messaging devices, but police
needed instant access to data as well. With the HP iPAQ pocket
PC and HP partner, Public Safety Group's, PocketCop application,
officers on foot and in cars anywhere around the airport can tap
into criminal databases, as well as the state motor vehicle registry
and FBI databases. The pilot law enforcement program is serving
as the model for local, state and national law enforcement agencies.
The program enables Massachusetts state troopers and security
at Logan Airport to access law enforcement databases from virtually
any location using HP iPAQ pocket PCs.

New England-based MassMutual sells individuals and small businesses
a variety of life insurance and pension products through more
than 1,300 offices in the U.S. A five-year customer using many
HP products, the company upgraded in April 2003. MassMutual needed
additional HP products due to growth. The solution was adding
six HP ProLiant
DL servers to run an in-house built financial application.
- Massachusetts Senator Edward M. Kennedy
As the senior senator of Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy represents
a state that is extremely technology-savvy. His offices needed
scanning and optical character recognition systems that would
allow documents to be stored in the InterTrac system, a correspondence
management system, and then accessed as electronic files. They
needed to efficiently manage extensive paper flow and improve
overall office efficiency and productivity. NSi/HP AutoStore and
HP Digital Sender solutions are used by the senator's administrators
to scan all incoming mail to InterTrak.

Massachusetts State Police, created in 1865, is the oldest statewide
law enforcement agency in the nation. It has 2,300 sworn officers
and 400 civilian personnel. The organization is implementing a
statewide wireless data communication system. Teaming with HP
and Public Safety Group, a Mobile Data Terminal solution has been
designed to help fight crime and save time and money. HP and various
partners have extensive knowledge and experience in public safety,
message switches, ruggedized mobile units, and mobile installation.
Teaming with these partners, HP will install 2,000 laptop units
in patrol cars over the next four years as part of the Mobile
Data Terminal solution.

MicroCast is the highest capacity U.S. turnkey provider of Internet
video streaming services to the media industry. MicroCast has
deployed more than 50 terabytes of SAN storage based on the RAID
Array 8000, which is used for streaming video applications in

Partners HealthCare System, an integrated health care delivery
system working with Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women's

to increase access to information. Guests can stroll the gallery
and get an interactive, wireless tour using an HP iPAQ
